Tevora's reflection of national history day

For N.H.D i did a exhibit on Walter Disney and the world of entertainment .
I worked with Ishmael Johnson, Shani Hayes. We tried to focus on how he started the his
career and what he left behind as his legacy.

First we read article's and book on him and learned allot. Some things that i learned is that
when he was 16 he lied about his age to join the red cross for the world war 1 .
He also never finished high school . His first creation was "Oswald the lucky rabbit"
he lost him to Charles Wintz who contracted with universal for distribution.
But in 2006 Disney company's got the rights to Oswald back in a trade with NBC universal .

Some of the challenges we went through was the marquee because we messed it up the first time
and we had to do it over again. We couldn't get found a lot of the information that we wanted.
Like more about his parent's , his brother's and sister's and his wife. And we felt like we was running out
of time and we stayed after school a whole lot and we still didn't get a whole bunch done.

Some things I liked about doing the project is all the cool and interesting things we learned about him
and what he did. It was exctiting to learn new things about a person I always heard about but never really
learned about . He is such a wonderful person that had so many good idea's and I really believe he is a person
that put a big impact in history and is loved till this day.
