security .vs. internet freedom

i think that myspace is not any more dangerous then face book because people can still get on and chat and meet crazy people
that I came across an article in today's Fort Worth Star Telegram about the Pew internt & American Life Project. In it, it quotes online teens as saying they exagerate their content on Myspace or FaceBook. It seems that they feel if they put false info there it will throw off preditors. Two thirds of those interviewed said that they put their profiles and other data behind password protected doors that only people who have been given the password can access.
